This Privacy Policy explains how UtilityDelta, the provider of the software-as-a-service product ("Product"), collects, uses, and protects the data you provide when using our Product. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring the security of your data.

Information We Collect​

We have an opt-in approach to the collection and processing of your data. By default, we do not collect any personal information about you or the projects you create on UtilityDelta.

If you choose to back-up or share your project with others, we will store your project on UtilityDelta servers. This data is end-to-end encrypted and we are unable to read the content of your project on the server.

Usage of LLM-based tooling (such as, but not limited to, the "Auto Group", "Unknown Detection" or other functionality) require parts of your project to be sent to our servers. The information is encrypted in transit via SSL and not stored at rest on our servers. We forward this data on to 3rd party providers for processing.

If you do create a user account, we collect and store your personal information including your email address, name and billing details.

Jira Plugin​

If your team uses the Jira plugin version of UtilityDelta, your data is kept within the Atlassian ecosystem. No data is sent to our servers. We only have access to logging data via the Atlassian developer tooling, which only logs statistical and technical data.

How We Use Your Information​

We use the information collected solely for the purpose of providing you with access to and usage of our Product. Specifically, we use your user account information for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your user account.
  • To authenticate your access to the Product.
  • To communicate with you regarding your account and Product-related updates.

Data Security​

We prioritize data security and employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, and regular security audits.

Projects on UtilityDelta are only stored locally on your device, unless you choose to generate a share link. If you project is uploaded to our servers, it is protected with end-to-end encryption.

Data Retention​

We retain your user account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. If you wish to delete your account or have your data removed, please contact us at help@utilitydelta.io, and we will assist you.

Third-Party Services​

We do not share your user account information with third-party services or partners. Your data is used exclusively for the operation of the Product.

We do not use cookies or analytics tools to collect personal data. We only use cookies that are essential for the operation of the Product.
